· Lesson 9: Conducting a Query
First Look Pro 3 includes several pre-scripted database queries that can be performed on your records.
Available queries include:
· Find records with duplicate ownership
· Find records with HazMats entered
· Find records with diagrams attached
· Find records without any diagrams attached
· Find records with an inspection date over 1 year old
· Find records with an inspection date over 2 years old
· Find records with hydrants
· Find records without hydrants
· Find records where the hazardous material is gasoline
· Find records with verified address errors
In this lesson, we’ll perform a query for occupancy records that have not been inspected in the last year.
To perform a query of you’re database records:
1. In Edit Mode, choose Query Builder from the Database Tools menu.
The Query Builder window is displayed.
2. Double-click on the name of the query you want to perform (the list is on the right side of the screen) .

Click the Start button. 

The query results will appear in the Result window. If you wish, you can Export the results to
an .html file or an Excel file (Export menu).
Note that mutual aid records are not included in the query unless you have taken ownership of them.
