Step 12: Using First Look Pro Map on a Mobile Computer

When you launch First Look Pro, the preplan information screens appear first, rather than the map. This allows you to search for the desired occupancy, or building. Once the record is displayed, if there are Latitude and Longitude coordinates available for that occupancy, a globe icon will show up in the upper-left portion of the screen.

Clicking on the globe launches First Look Pro Map, loads the configured mapping data, and places a marker on the map to show the address that is active in First Look Pro. First Look Pro remains running in the background. To return to the First Look Pro preplan information, click the FLP button in the upper-left of the First Look Pro Map screen.

As soon as you connect your GPS receiver, First Look Pro Map will activate it and begin to receive data from it. As your vehicle (with the GPS receiver) moves, the vehicle symbol on the map will move to show its current location and direction.
