Text can be manually entered into the different Structure Information fields, allowing you to add your own custom values for Construction Class, Roof Construction, Building Type, and Roof Covering. When in Edit Mode, the “Write” command (the pencil icon) is used to add, edit and delete labels in the Construction Class, Roof Construction, Building Classification, and Roof Covering fields.

 

Add a label to the menu

 

To add a label to an information field, click the “Write” icon to open the Lookup Editor dialog.

 

 

1.      To create a new value, click “Add” or simply click in the empty row at the bottom of the list

2.      Type to enter the text you want to add to the list.

 

 

Note: If your drop-down menu contains a lot of text labels, you may need to scroll down to the bottom of the lookup editor dialog to locate the blank text field.

 

 

3.  Click the Save button to complete the changes made to the menu and return to the First Look Pro structure information screen.

 

 

Note: Use the Cancel button to close the Lookup-editor dialog without saving any changes made to the menu.

 

Delete a text label on the menu

 

To delete a label from one of the existing structure menus:

 

1.      Select the Edit (pencil) button for the menu you want to change.

2.      Click to select the desired text label.

3.      Click the Delete button located at the top of the dialog box.

 

 

4. Click Save to complete the changes made to the menu and return to the First Look Pro structure information screen.

 

Editing an Existing Text Label

 

To edit an existing text label,

 

1.      Select the Edit (pencil) button for the menu you want to change.

2.      Double click to select the desired text label and enter the text editing mode.

3.      Type in the field to change the label.

 

 

4. Click Save to complete the changes made to the menu and return to the First Look Pro structure information screen.
