· PrePlan ID Numbers
Every occupant record that you create in First Look Pro is required to have a PrePlan ID Number. This ID number lets you create your own “filing system” for your records (in addition to Occupant Name and Address).
Before you begin creating occupancy records, it’s a good idea to decide what kind of format for the PrePlan ID Number makes sense for your department. The PrePlan ID Number can be up to 25 letters or numbers in any combination.

To find a record by its PrePlan ID:
1.
Click the Search
icon
located
at the top of the program screen.
First Look Pro will display the Search dialog box.
2. Select the Quick Search button, and then click the “Starts With” radial button.

3. Click the drop-down arrow in the Sort By field and choose pre-plan from the menu.

4. Click in the text entry box at the top and type the first few characters of the PrePlan ID Number and the list will automatically scroll to the first ID number that matches your typing, or you can scroll down the list and browse for the number you want.
5. Click a PrePlan ID Number in the list to close Search and cause First Look Pro to open the record associated with that PrePlan ID Number.
