· Diagram Display Areas

This area of the main screen displays the currently-selected diagram and all information related to it.

Use the Diagram Information Area to view and diagram’s name and path and to enter and view notes related to the diagram.

Clicking on the “Big Notes” magnifying glass icon causes the diagram notes window to be maximized so that the notes are displayed in a larger, easier-to-read format.

Clicking the “Minimize Arrow” icon located in the upper-left corner of the maximized notes window reduces the maximized window to its original size.

Using the tools in the Diagram Navigation Toolbar you can search for a diagram by name, move between diagrams attached to a record, add a new diagram or image and to the current record, save changes, or delete a diagram or image from the record.

Find - displays the Find Diagram box, which lets you search for a diagram by name.

First - navigates to the first record in the database.

Previous - navigates one record at a time toward the first record in the database.

Next - navigates one record at a time towards the end in the database.

Last - navigates to the last record in the database.

New - allows you to add a new diagram or image to the current record. (Edit Mode only)

Save - saves any changes made to the diagram path.  (Edit Mode only)

Delete – deletes the currently-selected diagram or image from the record.  It does NOT delete the actual diagram or image file from your computer.

Use the Diagram Preview Window and its toolbar to view the currently-selected diagram in more detail, to launch other CAD Zone applications, and to add a diagram or image to the current record.

 Clicking the “Maximize Arrow” icon located in the upper-left corner of the Diagram Preview Window maximizes the diagram display area to make it easier to view the diagram.

Clicking the “Minimize Arrow” icon located in the upper-left corner of the maximized Diagram Preview Window reduces the maximized window to its original size.

Zoom Window – lets you select a portion of the diagram and enlarge it so that it fills the preview window.

Zoom All – fits the diagram to the viewing screen

Refresh – refreshes the diagram display to show any changes made in the in the diagram program.

Pan – lets you choose a new center point for the diagram display without changing its magnification.

 Add a Diagram or Image File – lets you select a CAD Zone (.czd) diagram file or an image file or photo to add to the  current record.

Launch Viewer – Opens the diagram in the Diagram Viewer program

Launch Fire Zone/Crime Zone – Opens the diagram in the Fire Zone or Crime Zone applications, if you have them.
