· The Main Screen

The Main Screen is where you will spend most of your time in First Look Pro.  It’s the screen that you see when you first start up the program.  The Main Screen is divided into nine different areas, each with its own functions.

Mode Indicator:  First Look Pro has two modes:  View Mode and Edit Mode.  The mode indicator tells you which mode you are currently in.   In View Mode you can view and print records but cannot make any changes.  In Edit Mode you can create new records, edit existing ones, and attach diagrams and other important files to a record.  You also have access to menu items not available in View Mode.

Occupant Information Area:  This is where you can view and enter general information about the currently-selected occupancy.

Record Navigation Toolbar: These tools let you navigate between records, print records, create new records and delete existing ones.

Diagram Preview Window: This area displays diagrams, images and photos that have been attached to the currently-displayed occupancy record.

Diagram Viewing Tools: These tools let you change the view of the currently-displayed diagram or add a new diagram or image to the current record.  You can also open the current diagram or image in other CAD Zone programs from here.

Diagram Information Area: This area tells you how many diagrams and images have been attached to the current occupancy record and lets you navigate between them.  It also displays the file name and file path of the currently-displayed diagram or image.  You can also add and view notes for about the currently-displayed diagram or image here.

Diagram Navigation Tools: These tools let you navigate between the different diagrams and images that are attached to the current record.  They also let you search for a specific diagram or image by name and navigate to the record or records to which that diagram or image is attached.

Fire/Police Information Screens:  These screens allow you to view and enter a variety of information about the currently-selected occupancy.  Users see one of two different sets of screens, depending on whether they are fire service users or police service users.

Fire and Police Indicator Buttons: These buttons function like tabs, allowing you to navigate between the different fire and police information screens displayed to the right of the buttons.  When there is information entered in a screen, its indicator button changes color and the red light next to it lights up.
